About me

Why I write.

At Palo Alto High School, journalism has become one of the most important parts of my life. As an editor for The Paly Voice, I report on issues that affect our school community—from district decisions and school board meetings to student events.

Covering these stories has shown me how decisions made at the administrative level can impact students and teachers. It has taught me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and represent people’s experiences accurately.

At Agora Magazine, writing about foreign policy and international affairs has pushed me to think more critically. I’m drawn to journalism because it can explain systems that might otherwise feel distant or confusing.

In the future, I hope to pursue journalism and media, especially the intersection of reporting and the business of news.
